2.3 Participatory Hybrid Mining

ACP’s mining approach combines two participation models, enabling flexibility based on user capabilities. Participants can either stake tokens passively or actively contribute GPU computations.

2.3.1 Structure Definition

Type

Description

Example Participants

Passive

Stake ACP tokens to receive periodic reward from compute pool

Investors, non-GPU users

Active

Provide real GPU computing power to the network for real-time rewards

Miners, power users, AI developers

These two models are not mutually exclusive and may be adopted concurrently.

2.3.2 Component Flow

  • Passive: User stakes ACP through the DApp and is entitled to periodic reward based on total pool performance.

  • Active: User contributes real compute via Prime Mining and earns rewards that scale with uptime, accuracy, and hash output.

2.3.3 Accessibility & Scalability

  • Entry-level users can start with passive staking.

  • Advanced miners can optimize performance for higher returns.

  • Startups and institutions may engage as both consumers and contributors.
